I often get asked if I photograph couples getting ready before the Wedding ceremony – I certainly do! Here is Grace’s full gallery of images from her ‘getting ready’ part of her wedding day at the Wedding Suite, Elms Barn, Beccles, Suffolk.

The bridal party had stayed the night at Elms Barn in Suffolk, UK – where the wedding was also taking place. I hadn’t photographed there before and was blown away by how lovely it was. The building had so much space and light to take great photographs, especially in room number 2, where Grace had decided to get ready. The amount of light available should be specially noted as Grace and Mark’s wedding was taking place on the 14th March, which, in the UK March still means it is touch and go whether you will get a good weather day.

The suite didn’t disappoint, it gave a beautiful backdrop to the ‘getting ready’ photographs and provided enough space for the wedding party, Grace’s parents, Grace’s aunt and uncle, the makeup artist and me!

I can’t wait to photograph there again.
