NORWICH

If your perfect photoshoot is situated in a historical city yet vibrant city, there is no better location for you in Norfolk than the centre of Norwich. There are so many places I could recommend around Norwich for you to have your engagement photographs! Your engagement photoshoot could turn into a whole romantic day out with your partner, wandering around the independent shops, having a coffee date at one of the speciality coffee shops and exploring and tastes of Norwich market food stalls.

You could also visit the Cathedral Close. Situated in Tombland, the Cathedral Close is a 44-acre haven surrounding Norwich Cathedral. The Close has more than 80 listed buildings and as members of the public, you are allowed to visit every day until 10 pm – let your imagination run wild in this historical paradise. Simply put, it’s a little piece of heaven on a sunny day (and rainy!).

If you are in the mood for some sightseeing, in a unique way, why not plan a city tour by paddleboard or kayak. Pub and paddle have amazing routes which suit all adventure levels. Paddle to nearby Surlingham, Thorpe St Andrew and Bramerton and stop at local pubs along the way. In the summer months, you can enjoy a relaxing two-hour evening paddle and explore Norwich from the river.

Want to incorporate forests and nature into your shoot but are unsure about leaving the city behind? Does a sunset photoshoot sound more your thing? You don’t have to go far out of the city centre to find nature. Check out Mousehold heath for the best view of Norwich – see Autumnal engagement shoot inspiration here.

CROMER

Cromer has always been a day out favourite of mine, but in recent years I have fallen in love all over again with this classic British seaside town. Why not take a stroll at sunset along the beautiful coastline – if you go right when facing the sea you will walk to secluded spots where you can stop and take in the landscape with your partner. Engagement photographs don’t have to be traditional, far from it. As an experienced Norfolk engagement photographer, I am in love with quirky ideas for couples photoshoots. If you happen to think the same, I suggest visiting one of the game arcades in Cromer on your photoshoot! Try your hand at the 2pence machines and see if you can win a prize for each other. End your day with dinner at the award-winning fish and chip shops.

WEYBOURNE

Imagine yourself standing hand in hand with your fiancee on Weybourne beach, surrounded by the most mystical landscape that is surprisingly empty amazing if you value your privacy. You will only find this unique landscape at Weybourne beach in Norfolk, and trust me when I say it will be perfect for your Norfolk engagement photographs.

SEA PALLING

Fancy a beautiful sunset engagement photoshoot? All you need is the best elopement photographer in Norfolk and transport to Sea Palling beach. If you’re lucky and visit at the right time of year, you may see some seals! The brilliant light at sunset here will show off the love and magic with such style.
