Santa Barbara Castle. The Santa Barbara Castle is an excellent option for a more historical feel. With its stunning views of the Mediterranean Sea, white sand beaches, and plenty of photoshoot-worthy backdrops, it’s no wonder why this beach is so famous. Plan to visit for a sunrise or sunset photoshoot if you’re travelling here in the summer. Not only does Alicante get very hot, but beach-goers will be soaking up the sunshine.
